Painter; Massachusetts, Florida and France. Born in Rotterdam, Holland, and studied in Germany with George Hacker, in Italy with Giuseppe Mancini, and at the Royal Academy of Holland. He came to the United States in 1917, and designed and painted stage settings until 1927.
